Poor Grace does have an ear infection... :( They gave her antibiotics and we've kept her on motrin around the clock to help with her pain. So sad. Neither her, Faith or I have gotten ANY sleep for the past 5 or 6 days and I am really feeling it. I feel like I could sleep for days right now...
Grace and Faith's pre-k Christmas program is tonight. They are SOOO excited to 'be on stage' and sing!! It's all they are talking about :)
We had our first small snowfall on Saturday. It surprised me to wake up to snow...I hadn't seen the news or weather forecast in a couple weeks so I wasn't expecting that! Nice surprise!!
My husband had the last two weeks off work for vacation time. It was WONDERFUL having him home all day, and we were able to get a lot accomplished. It went by soooo fast and I've really been missing him these last couple days. We spent a couple mornings getting coffee together after taking the girls to pre-k....so special to me!!!!! I love my man!!!
We are still working with our team at Childrens for a 2nd cochlear implant. We just completed a serious of testings they will be discussing on Thursday so we should have some sort of indication then whether or not we will be moving on to a new clinic or search for a new CI surgeon/team. This has been so heavy on me but I'm also so faithful the Lord will show us where He wants us!!!
Faith will have another series of testings over Christmas break and into the new year from an outside source, but other than that, we have completed every single test you can put a child through......thankfully Faith knows them as "adventures" and special time with mommy....and also gets chocolate milk :) It's the simple things when you're 5!!!
