Random Update & A Video :)

I can hardly believe it has been so long since I have updated.  I know I will regret that when I print out this year into a book...however, I have wanted to soak up every single minute with my family as I could.  I cannot even tell you the last day I logged onto my twitter, or pinterest!!???  Hardly ever online.
It's been a great summer, busy, but very fun!!

Grace and Faith are getting old enough where we can be out around "nap time" {most days} and there are no crazy mood swings :)  They haven't been taking official naps for about a year now, but if we are driving they almost always fall asleep...which comes by them naturally...I always sleep in the car! :)

A few days ago I took them to the disney store for the first time....{I had no idea there was a disney store!!!!!!}  OH MY HEART....I'll post pictures about this.  so fun!! :)
While we were in the area I went and had my wedding ring Grace is obsessed with the Lord bringing a boy into her life to marry....
sweet mercy, pray for me....and my husband.  These girls are just so precious! :)
Faith wanted to put every bit of jewelry on that was in the store.... :) :)

This is the sweetest video of Grace singing.  I am SO sorry it's sideways, I spent a few minutes trying to fix it, but gave up. ha!!  The video is a minute long, and about half way through you can really start to hear her.  She is singing Casting Crowns, Jesus Friend of Sinners.  They LOVE the Casting Crowns CD and the first thing Grace says when we get into the car is "mommy can I listen to the songs I like?". ahahahahaha

I am SOOOOO thankful how much our girls LOVE the Lord.  They aren't quite mature enough/old enough to understand salvation in it's entirely yet...but they LOVE Jesus, and God knows our hearts, and we are greatly thankful for their desire to please Him at only 5 years old.  No words could magnify the greatness of this!!!!!

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he is us, because he that given us of his Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.  God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

A Video...From Grace & Faith :)

Grace and Faith LOVE performing right now.  You cannot really tell in the video but they are standing on princess chairs and singing into a toy broom for their doll house :)
They made up this song "I'm the cutest girl I've ever seen" and keep repeating those words over and over again.  Seriously the CUTEST thing I'VE ever seen!!!!!!! :-)  I LOVE the parts they carry out.....and how they take a bow at the end.  Be still my heart!!!!!!!

We have an important meeting with Audiology/AR team.  While we won't be leaving with answers {necessarily}, we will be diving further into this AN, profound hearing loss, and some recent changes with Faith.

This has been really heavy on my heart this week.

And honestly, Faith's language is getting worse.  She has started babbling, almost talking in jibberish to words she would previously use.
At first we dismissed it thinking she was having 'off days' or not understanding {its been going on for a couple weeks now}.  But it's becoming more and more prevalent and we are having a hard time understanding her {and we've always been able to understand her...even if she didn't use her words appropriately}.

Here is a video I sent to our team.
They wanted to see Grace & Faith interacting in normal play to see the use of Faith's vocabulary/speech production/words she uses.
Shes not talking much but does a lot of jibberish when she does.

I've been begging GOD lately to help me understand.
But I don't.
I DO understand that HE knows for now...
And I need to learn {} to give it all to HIM.

Hear It From Them!

Here is a video I took of Grace & Faith talking about their first day of preschool.  Daddy was here to miss the conversation so I recorded it so he wouldn't miss out...and thought I'd share here too :)

Unfortunately, Flickr only allows 90 sec videos so it cuts off the last minute or so...but you'll get the idea!

Random {ness}

* Yesterday I ventured out with 4 kids in tow {5, 2, 2, & 23 months} to an indoor playpark.  It sounds crazy, but we had a blast.  The kids were SO good.  And it was MUCH busier than usual.  I was so proud of them!!!

* Grace knows her ABC's {she has known them for about 3 weeks now...its just taken that long to get a good video of her participating}!  She always wants to 'see' the video or picture I am shooting, so you'll notice me turning with her to keep her in focus.  HA!

* Faith had a fever to 104.1 all day Saturday, but Sunday she was fine.  I thought she might have a UTI {unexplained fever.  We have to watch her very carefully because she has Grade III kidney reflux}, but now she is in full blown illness.  Albuterol treatments every couple hours.  She is playing normal, but sounds/looks miserable.
Her sats are stable at 94 on .75 liter flow {a tad increase from .5, but no big deal}.  Although her nose is so stuffy we have had to go much higher to get better oxygenation.

* We have a {important} meeting on Friday for Faith.

Loving This...

Faith and I are at Childrens today meeting with the Hearing Loss & Cochlear Implant Team.  So for this video and laugh A LOT!

*please excuse my laughing {again}, I know, I know.

We shot this video for out PT/OT so she could see Faith jump, or her lacking the ability to jump.  Faith does not perform for people so catching it on video is our only option right now!
These girls crack me up!  Seriously, I find myself laughing nearly all day long at them.  The way they dance, and jump, and flail their arms around, their curly red hair...I just couldn't love them anymore!!!

This will crack. you. up!!!

 *please excuse my laughing :)

Grace has SO much energy, and both her and Faith LOVE reading/singing this book.
It's really a daily occurrence around here :)

We are at Childrens' Hospital for surgery on Grace's eyes right now {this is a scheduled post}.
You can follow my tweets for quicker updates.
And please keep praying!

A Video Of Grace

Grace is being silly in this video.  She can count from 1-15 but was distracted, and being goofy :)
Oh, my girls are seriously the sweetest little girls EVER!

This is one of those sweet memories I will always cherish about Grace.  She not only loves music, but she LOVES to sing.
Every day we sing at least a dozen different songs.
And every day, I am amazed at how far she has 2 years old.
It melts. my. heart.

They are too cute.

While Daddy is Away.......

All we do is play!!!!
Actually, that's what we do when he is home too. Ya know, besides our visit to Children's Hospital 3-4 days a week and our in home therapy visits.
Lance is off on a fishing extravaganza (a four + hour drive) with some men from church. They left at 3am and are coming back sometime this evening. A bunch of christian men, out in the open waters, fishing pole in hand, none of their wifes around. I'm guessing their miserable :)

Sorry for the lighting. The only digital camera I have is a point n' shoot. I have my old photography camera but its film. I do however, have my eye (and heart) on a new DSLR. I have been saving for months now and I'm feverishly praying for it, sometime in our future.
It's been nearly 10 years since I was truly, head over heals, in this work (I became so wrapped up in my career; and then ya'll know what happened next.....premature labor, twins, SAHM). My last shoot was my friends engagement pics 6 years ago. Geesh. Where has time gone?
So needless to say, I feel pretty of out of my experience.
Although, I have been researching like a mad dog and must say, its all coming back and I'm so excited. Even if it takes 5 more years of saving.

They love the door stop because it can be detached
and in the mouth.
Oh Gracie. I love you to the moon and back.
Faithy is mowing our rug. Isn't she super adorable.
Although super adorable, this child of mine is making me crazy.
She will not eat. Literally.
Her food intake, over the last 11 days, has consisted of: sliced cheese, crackers, bananas, oranges, and avocado (oh how I LOVE avocado). She will drink her pediasure and milk (because she cannot drink anything else) and will occasionally take a bite of cheerios. All other foods she used to love......are gone.
It's extremely frustrating, since her "delayed weight gain" is already a huge factor.
I know kids go through these different stages of not liking foods and so on. But Faith is hungry. She wants to eat and wont.
Maybe the reflux, aspirating factor? I have no idea.

It makes an interesting life of twins, with one who can hear and one who, cannot. My little Grace is a sponge. She picks up new words everyday. So stinkin' precious.

Oxygen down to 1 Liter

Our little Faithy Bear

Our Little Gracie Boo Bug (whom I missed soo much)

girls playing together

notice Faith without oxygen???

She only lasted for about an hour before her sats dropped to mid 80's.

Isn't she one (the other is Grace, of course) of the cutest, sweetest little girls ever. Oh, how we love these two kiddos.
Notice Faith, without her hearing aids???

A Little Love

Grace & Faith clapping their hands together

Isn't this soooooo cute

Now they're giving each other "hi-fives"

This was last night after we gave Faith 4 baths in a row

Grace was playing with her baby and giving kisses

look how curly her hair gets
these two couldn't be any cuter

As you can see, they LOVE this game. And we do it every single day.

Short Pics

Here on some videos requested by the girls' friend Kendyl. Her mom asked me to post some "pictures that talk" (isn't that cute). Here ya go...

This was Grace yesterday. This is her new love. Most of the time she runs into the wall. Goofy little girl.

This was Faith in love with the new teddys. As you will see....With her hearing aids on, she knows her name. She also responds to "yeah" and claps her hands (although not seen in this video) without a cue from us. Two responses are better than none.

BTY...Hi kelsey. I got your message, thanks for following. I hope you all are feeling better.
